(More customer reviews)I bought this book after reading an article in the Cape Cod Times.Dick Warren has been making ice cream at Four Seas for fifty years now, and I've been eating his product for maybe forty of those years. The man really knows his stuff--he's a Professor of commercial ice cream making at Penn State University, and he's spilling his secrets here.
This book is filled with great recipes featuring natural ingredients, but that's not the only reason to buy the book.Recipes are a dime a dozen on the internet.The reason to buy the book is because of all insights he gives into the chemistry of ice cream and tips on how to make your product come out great.
