(More customer reviews)This is a really well-done book, which centers on apples and their potential in diverse recipes. The author is obviously an expert cook, and has crafted many delicious recipes utilizing apples in one form or another.Beyond that, he tells a good story about the apple itself, as a tree interlaced with human history, and as a fruit with a myriad potential for us to experience through its many varieties and ways of consuming them. There is good attention to detail in the subject matter, and the author allows his personality to inform his writing.
